For most of her 28 years, Aarti Sharma (Name changed) carried a heavy and unexplained burden—a deep-seated fear of sexual abuse that clouded her mind like a shadow without a source. Despite no instances of trauma in her current life that she could remember, the fear persisted. Coupled with a history of troubled relationships with the men in her life—her father, her younger brother, and an ex-boyfriend—Aarti felt imprisoned by patterns she couldn’t understand. That is, until she began her journey through clinical hypnotherapy with me.
Aarti’s case, explored through a series of carefully guided sessions, offers a compelling look at how regression therapy can unlock the subconscious and illuminate the deeper roots of emotional pain.
I conducted the therapy with our structured and ethically grounded framework of Clinical Hypnotherapy, combining subconscious exploration, energy clearing, past-life regression, and inner child integration.
The Unseen Wounds
Aarti’s presenting complaint was specific yet enigmatic: a fear of sexual abuse without a conscious memory of any such trauma. Alongside this was a lifelong difficulty forming healthy emotional bonds with male figures. She had also recently faced significant life stressors—losing her father, taking over the family business with her younger brother, and navigating post-breakup grief. But the emotional turmoil had started long before these events.
Peeling Back the Layers
The initial sessions introduced Aarti to the concepts of hypnotherapy and gently inducted her into trance states. From there, her journey through past experiences—both from this life and beyond—began to unfold.
In a foreign energy and ego-state therapy session, a 26-year-old part of Aarti, still angry at an authoritative ex-boss, was brought forth. Using techniques like hypnodrama and energy exchange, I helped her release suppressed emotions and reclaim her self-confidence. This process began unburdening Aarti of pent-up emotional residue.
The Past Lives of Pain
After initial work of clearing energies, resolving passive aggressive behavior and identifying the void i suspected that the roots of her suffering went deeper—beyond her present life.
Through Past Life Regression Therapy (PLRT), Aarti encountered three powerful past-life personalities (PLPs) that would prove instrumental in transforming her emotional landscape:
Raja (1840s) – A male personality who had inflicted sexual violence on many women in his lifetime and carried justifications for his actions until death. In reliving and healing Raja’s life with compassion and wisdom, Aarti was able to integrate a profound lesson: self-restraint and not projecting personal pain onto society.
Rupa – A domestic maid who, after being sexually assaulted by a co-worker and abandoned by her employer, lived a life steeped in fear and distrust. In the healed version of this life, Rupa courageously stood up for herself, rebuilt her life, and found safety and stability.
Kritika – A 17-year-old girl who endured years of sexual abuse by her uncle, ultimately taking her life out of helplessness. In the healed reliving, Kritika informed her parents, found protection, and grew up to live a long, fulfilled life.
Each of these past-life personalities was reintegrated into Aarti’s energy field, allowing their unprocessed traumas and karmic burdens to transform into empowerment and self-compassion.
Reclaiming the Inner Child
And then came a powerful revelation: Aarti's deep-seated fear of sexual abuse was not only rooted in three unresolved past-life experiences, but each of these lives had also activated a corresponding inner child within her current life. As the healing progressed, Aarti was finally able to access a long-suppressed memory from early childhood—she recalled being molested at the age of three by a painter who had been working in their home at the time.
On two other occasions in her early childhood, Aarti experienced inappropriate physical contact by a relative. These deeply buried memories surfaced during the therapeutic process, and the associated inner child personalities were gently accessed and healed through hypnotherapy.
These breakthroughs helped her rebuild her sense of inner safety and self-belief.
Generational Curses and Ancestral Shadows
As Aarti progressed, the therapy explored a deeper layer—an ancestral curse. In a past incarnation, a male ancestor who had betrayed a woman’s trust had been cursed: that all women in his lineage would suffer in relationships with men. This curse, embedded in the family’s energetic blueprint, was identified and released, clearing the generational debris Aarti had unknowingly carried.
Coming Full Circle
By the final session, Aarti no longer felt consumed by fear. Positive suggestions were embedded in her subconscious to reinforce the changes—affirming her safety, strength, and ability to stand up for herself. Post-therapy feedback showed a transformed woman: lighter, more energetic, and at peace within. Her relationship with her brother improved significantly, and the once-constant fear of sexual violation had disappeared.
The Bigger Picture
This case is more than just a story of one woman’s healing—it’s a testament to the profound role that hypnotherapy can play in addressing not just psychological symptoms, but their deeper, often unseen origins. By bravely confronting the layers of unresolved trauma spanning lifetimes, Aarti found clarity, strength, and wholeness.
As society continues to explore holistic and integrative therapies, cases like Aarti’s shine a light on the transformative potential of subconscious healing. For those suffering from seemingly inexplicable fears or emotional blocks, the answers might just lie in the realms beyond memory—waiting to be discovered, healed, and released.
